7th Governing council meeting of the Postgraduate (Master) Programme on Tropical Fisheries with International Linkage was held at Kasetsart University, Thailand from 24 until 25 November 2016.
Dean Koshio, Secretary-general Arikawa and 8 faculties from Kagoshima University attended the meeting. We discussed on the activities 2016 and improvement in the education of the programme next year with member school such as School of Fisheries and Marine Science, Sam Ratulangi University, Indonesia, School of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Malaysia University Trenggau, College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences, University of the Philippines Visayas, School of Fisheries, Kasetsart University, Thailand, and Postgraduate School, Nha Trang University, Vietnam. A part of the programme was supported by JASSO (Japan Student Services Organization).
2017 will be 3rd year of the programme. Next governing council meeting will be held at University of Philippines in 2017.
