On 30 Nov. and 1st Dec. an annual meeting of management council of Postgraduate School International Linkage Programme on Tropical Fisheries (ILP) has held at Sam Ratulangi University in Manado, Indonesia.
Participants were two committees of each ILP member universities (Kagoshima University (Chair, Japan), Sam Ratulangi University (Indonesia), University of Philippines Visayas (Philippines), University Malaysia Terengganu (Malaysia), Kasetsart University (Thailand))and as observer, Nha Trang University (Vietnam), the University of the South Pacific (Fiji) and Asian Institute of Technology also participated to the conference. At the conference, we reviewed the activities performed current year and discussed the plan for next year.
Also, we discussed whether to approve the three universities who participated as an observer as a member. As a result, Nha Trang University was approved to join the ILP members though, other two universities were required to further improvement of international co-education system.
ILP was founded in 2014 by four universities except University Malaysia Terengganu. It is the young international joint education programme which started dispatch and acceptance of the student from this year. ILP get a new member school subsequently to University Malaysia Terengganu and become 6 Southeast Asia major country universities organization. We are developing and planning to increase the number of students who dispatch and acceptance next year.
