On October 31st, 2015, we conducted the “Agreement of Development and Research Cooperation” with Department of Agricultural Cooperative and Rural Development, Bin Dinh Province, Vietnam. The president Truong Tan Sang also attended to the signing ceremony held at Qui Nhon city.
At Bin Dinh Province, the project “Diffusion and Substantiate of Fisheries Technology and Facilities to modernize tuna fishing in Vietnam” which supported by JICA are now on going and 7 Kagoshima Univ. professors are joined it. They are cooperating to transfer the technologies under the field of fishing technology, quality control and distribution.
After the signing ceremony, we confirmed with the needs of cooperation in the fields of resource management, aquaculture and development policy with representative of Department of Agricultural Cooperative and Rural Development, Institute for Marine Science & Fishing Technology of Nha Trang University, Kato Hitoshi general office and Yamada industry. And we also discussed about the acceptance of Kagoshima University students under the international internship program.
