.Angler:Atsushi YAMAMOTO(Fisheries Resource Science)
.Date:2015.4.2
.Place:Uji Islets, Kagoshima Pref.
.Target:Almaco jack (Seriola rivoliana) 3.3 ㎏. B.W.
.Tackle:Lure fishing (metal jig)
.Comment:
"Almaco jacks, bear a close resemblance to Amberjacks, but Almaco jack’s dorsal and anal fins are high and elongated with deeply sickle shaped edges. Since Almaco jacks inhabit both tropical and subtropical waters, we can sometimes fish the both species off the coast of Uji Islands. Fast retrieving of metal jig is effective for the fast-swimming predators."
